How long does it take to receive my UserName and Password?

After we receive your registration, we assign an individual user name and password and send this to the e-mail address associated with the registration. This process is usually done within one day.

Some e-mail servers are restricting any e-mail that looks like spam.  This may prohibit delivery of your username and password. Please call us at 214-616-9408 if you have not received your username and password within 24-hours after your registration.

How often is the information presented in the classes updated?

Updates are done on a continuous basis as we obtain new information on a subject. For example, you may find that a page you visited previously has changed to reflect new information. This is especially true of statistical data and forecasts.

Is there a way to get copies of the slides for future reference?

Adobe pdf files are available for the lectures in the Digital Library. You can also print copies of the slides. You should select the landscape view.

Is there  narration accompanying the slides?

No. We believe that most of the slides are somewhat self-explanatory. The addition of narration would increase page download time and affect the pace you take through the class. We have added lecturer notes to the slides. Additional explanation for a slide is always available via phone (214-616-9408) or email.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes. After you have completed all of the class work and complete the Course Evaluation.

What are the viewing options available for the class lectures?

There are several options that you can use.  The screen can be adjusted to allow you to read the lecture notes by adjusting the size of the frame.  You can view the slides without the lecture notes and slide outline frame by selecting those options from the menu below the slide.  You can also view the slides as a slide show by selecting that option from the menu below the slide.
